Welcome to Hannelore, a little world of thoughtful cakes, playful details and a touch of nostalgia.

I’m Hannah, a Waiheke Island local, and the baker behind it all. Named after my great-grandmother Hannelore, who lived close to the land in her garden home in Portugal, my work is inspired by a slower, more thoughtful way of life. After travelling through Europe, I fell in love with the artistry of cake making and the simple joy of creating something beautiful to share.

I create one-of-a-kind cakes for weddings and special occasions, bringing together lovely flavours, considered details and a little bit of magic.
